By utilizing and compost and mulch systems as the building blocks of our erosion and sediment control practices, we offer a long-term sustainable product for our clients.  Not only is this good stewardship for our environment, but it is also one of the most effective erosion control practices on the market.
Compost is a bio-based annually renewable product that is made by diverting organic materials from our landfills and creating a nutrient rich material that is an excellent growing medium.  Compost also absorbs over 100% of it's weight in water, and then slowly releases it back into the soil, creating a more drought resistant and drought tolerant vegetation solution.
Organic compost and mulch are strikingly similar to the natural layer of duff that normally exists in pre-disturbed conditions. By mimicking these conditions on eroded areas, we protect the denuded soils from accelerated erosion while minimizing maintenance and removal costs of synthetic BMP's.

This process has been simplified through the use of a blower truck.  It allows us to blow in compost, seed and tackifier  with one piece of equipment on all kinds of sites including slopes and hard to reach applications.
